STRATEGIC MARKETING PLAN FROM THE STUDIO BEHIND CHILD’S PLAY TAKING SHADE TO FAR AT IT’S COMPETITOR?
Is the marketing team at United Artist Releasing behind the new Child’s Play movie taking a bit too far? The aggressive competition with Toy Story has lead them to the parodies of their main threat. While they are quite hilarious, we are not sure if they are trying to support their competitor or “go beyond” their ticket sales. We all have a feeling Toy Story 4 will out shine this horror remake, however the thought of them taking stabs at the similar kids movie — although one is a light-hearted family favorite while the other one is a cult horror phenomenon — is none the less more entertaining than ever.
