FourWalled had their world premiere of films at the Laemmle NoHo 7 in North Hollywood, California on Friday, June 21 from founder/owner Derek Quick. The company had 29 short films play on the big screen for one week giving indie filmmakers and their works of art the chance to be qualified for the Academy Awards. Quick, being a Award-winning filmmaker, has his recent project, Kommando 1944, win over 140 awards to date.

Jeff Seid, an actor in the film and a professional bodybuilder, attended the event. The film takes place on July 1944 as an Asian American soldier Corporal Soo is thrown into a Nazi work camp on a farm in Germany as his family back home in America are forced into an American Japanese concentration camp in Manzanar California. The allied soldiers think Soo is a Japanese soldier and segregate him. Soo must fight to let go of the past in order to be set free.
