FIRST-TIME DIRECTOR DEBUTS FILM ON CEREBRAL PALSY

YOUNG FILMMAKERS SCREEN NEW YORK PREMIERE AT LIIFE

Tim Doran is the director and co-producer of the short film, In My Eyes, which was nominated for Best Student Film at LIIFE. The film is about a high school graduate named Mike who has cerebral palsy and anxiety. After Mike’s friends leave for school and frustrations at home, he chooses to attend college and face the challenges of dealing with his disabilities on his own in a completely new place. This is Tim’s debut film!

Like his character, Mike, Tim also has cerebral palsy. Tim is a recent attendee of Farleigh Dickinson University, receiving his Bachelors of Film and Animation: Post-Production. He also runs his own business, Studio461, where he does video and audio conversion and digitizing as well as professional video editing.

Brian M. Williams is the writer and co-producer for In My Eyes. Linda Collins is the actress who portrays Mike’s mother in the film; throughout her career, she has been in many films and TV shows, including Burning Blue, Stalked, and Redrum. She is also a professional musician, using her talents in piano and horn to perform with many different orchestras and musical groups.
