TRICIA BROUK RELEASES POWERFUL DOCUMENTARY IN THEATRES IN HOLLYWOOD
FILMMAKER BRINGS AWARENESS OF BUDDHIST TEACHINGS AND MEDITATION IN PRISONS
Tricia Brouk’s passion for storytelling has shaped her worked in film, television, and theater for over two decades and now this award-winning director, including being awarded Top Director of 2019 by the International Association of International Professionals and Award of Merit by The IndieFest for her short documentary Right Livelihood A Journey to Here, releases her moving motion picture to the big screen in Los Angeles for a limited theatrical run.
The documentary is about a Buddhist Chaplain named Justin Von Bujdoss and how he is changing the culture around spiritual care, and teaching meditation to the Correction Officers while also holding space for the inmates in one of the toughest prison’s in the country on Rikers Island.
